CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Milling is a subtractive manufacturing process where a rotating cutting tool removes material from a workpiece guided by pre-programmed computer code. It can produce complex 2D profiles, 3D contours, slots, holes, and surfaces with high dimensional accuracy.
VMC (Vertical Machining Centre) is a type of CNC milling machine where the spindle axis is vertically oriented. VMCs are better suited for flat-surface, prismatic, and multi-face machining in a single setup, and typically offer higher rigidity and better accuracy compared to conventional CNC mills.
